Specializing in miniature on-board cameras, RunCam offers two Scopecam 2S Full HD (1920 x 1080P) cameras. Designed with lenses of different sizes, these cameras provide a wider or narrower field of vision, depending on whether you want a more global or more concentrated view. The 25 mm lens gives an FOV of 11.3°, enabling a wider field of vision with a focus on shorter distances, while the 35 mm lens gives an FOV of 8.2°, enabling a narrower view with a stronger zoom and a mount more suited to snipers. TheH.265 encoding combined with the new image algorithm means that every frame is captured more clearly, with more faithful colors and better low-light performance.
Scopecam 2S are fitted with a Picatinny rail, making them easy to attach to replicas. You can easily access camera settings via the app available on the IOS and Android platforms, also enabling live video feedback to your smartphone or tablet via WIFI access (2.4G). A flashback function lets you replay the 10 to 15 seconds of pre-recording preceding the shot. In terms of waterproofing, the camera complies with IP64 standards.
This is an easy-to-install camera, with interesting features and very good recording quality.
Note: For use at close range or on a replica handgun, for example, we recommend the camera with the 25 mm lens. On the other hand, for sniper or long-distance use, we recommend the 35 mm lens version.
