The AK102 is the short version of the AK101 assault rifle. They are modernized versions of the AK74, an assault rifle used by the Soviet Army since 1974 to replace the AKM.
Tokyo Marui offers, as usual, a replica featuring an irrational finish with a polymetallic design. There is also a custom flash hider and sound amplifier type cover.
The AK102 Next Gen tokyo marui is an EBBR ré and therefore has a very pleasant Blowback system. This model is sold with a specific Next Gen 480 bb magazine. Works with a 7.4v LiPo or 8.4v NiMH Mini type battery (not included) that fits on top of the handguard.
