Chicom Chest Rig HELIKON-TEX

The HELIKON-TEX Chicom Chest Rig is a lightweight tactical chest rig designed for reconnaissance and training. Directly inspired by Chinese military gear from the 1940s and popularized during the Vietnam War, it features three front flap pockets that hold AK or AR magazines, a quick-release system with buckles, and a chest strap. Its DWR-treated 500D Cordura fabric limits water absorption and resists abrasion, while Woojin components ensure reliable performance under load and in varying temperature conditions.

Modularity is at the heart of its design: MOLLE/PALS panels allow for expanded carrying capacity, and the rear Velcro panel enables direct attachment to a plate carrier or the addition of a dangler. The pocket flaps can be replaced with the included elastic cords for faster access to magazines. The internal pocket, featuring a soft Velcro backing, is compatible with Competition/VIS system inserts.
