Its RockSteady 3.0 stabilization and horizon balancing keep the image really stable, even when running. With waterproofing to 10 meters and extended battery life via the dock, you can forget about it on your kit and shoot all day long. For an airsoft player, every game is a unique experience to be shared and analyzed. The DJI Osmo Nano is designed to become your in-game witness, capturing your moves, tactics and successes with game-changing image quality and ease of use. Its minimalist format and magnetic attachment system allow you to integrate it into your equipment without hindering your movements, for a truly immersive first-person viewpoint.
Imagine being able to relive your games with the same level of detail and fluidity as the videos you watch online. Whether you're analyzing your strategies, creating content for your team or simply keeping a dynamic record of your days in the field, this action camera brings a new dimension to your airsoft practice.
The Osmo Nano is equipped with a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor, a remarkable size for a camera of this format. This technical feature enables it to capture 4K video at 60 frames per second and 35 megapixel photos. In play, this translates into exceptionally sharp footage, where every detail of the terrain, your cue and the movements of other players is perfectly rendered. The 10-bit D-Log M format offers an extended dynamic range, preserving information in shadows and highlights, essential for filming in the contrasting environments of a gaming venue.
Fast movements, races between shelters and moving positions are no longer a problem for the quality of your video. RockSteady 3.0 stabilization technology combined withHorizonBalancing actively compensates for shocks and rotations. The result is a perfectly stable, horizontal image, even when you're running or in an uncomfortable position. You get usable footage that's pleasant to look at, without the blur and shakes that usually make action videos difficult to watch.
The Osmo Nano's main advantage for airsofters lies in its ultra-light 52-gram design and double-sided magnetic attachment system. In just a few seconds, you can attach it to your helmet visor, replica rail, plate-holder or suitable textile equipment. This polyethod of installation gives you total freedom to choose your angle of view, while ensuring that the camera remains securely in place during the action.
Its native 10-meter waterproofing protects it from weather, dust, mud and humidity - conditions frequently encountered outdoors. You don't have to worry about field conditions or a sudden downpour.
With the camera alone, you benefit from around 90 minutes of autonomy. The Vision Dock included in this combo serves both as a control station with touch-sensitive OLED screen and as an additional battery, bringing total autonomy to over 200 minutes. In practice, this more than covers a typical day's airsoft with several games. You can easily recharge the camera between games via the dock, without the need for an electrical outlet in the field.
With 64 or 128 GB of internal memory (depending on version) and the option of adding a microSD card, you won't have to manage storage space in the middle of the action. After the game, the transfer of your footage is accelerated by the USB 3.1 connection offering speeds of up to 600 Mb/s. You can quickly save and edit your best moments without waiting hours for files to download.
The DJI Osmo Nano Standard Combo 64GB or 128GB is not just an accessory, it's a tool that documents and enhances your airsoft experience. It captures the reality of the game with the fidelity and stability needed to get the most out of it, whether your objective is tactical analysis, content creation or preserving dynamic memories of your exploits in the field.
The DJI Osmo Nano is an action camera designed for sports and activities on the move, including airsoft. Weighing in at just 52 grams, its magnetic mount makes it easy to attach to helmets and other equipment. Its water resistance up to 10 meters and wide operating temperature range (-20°C to 45°C) make it suitable for outdoor use.
It is important to note that it is not specifically designed to withstand the direct impact of airsoft pellets. We recommend that you use it with care and consider its location on your equipment to minimize the risk of impact.
The camera's main attachment is magnetic. The pack includes a magnetic cap clip, a magnetic lanyard and a bi-directional magnetic swivel mount.
For helmets or tactical equipment, you can use either the articulated bracket or the magnetic cord. Fastening is quick and requires no tools, but it's crucial to check the strength of the anchorage before any strenuous activity to avoid the camera coming loose.
Battery life varies according to recording mode. In normal use, the camera alone provides around 90 minutes. With the Vision Dock (included), total autonomy rises to around 200 minutes.
In continuous 4K recording at 60 frames per second, autonomy is around 50 minutes. For a day's gaming, we recommend taking breaks to recharge the battery via a portable power bank, as the Vision Dock is not waterproof (IPX4 only).
Yes, the camera features RockSteady 3.0 stabilization and HorizonBalancing. These technologies effectively correct shakiness and jerky movements, as well as horizon tilts.
This ensures smooth, stable footage even during dynamic movement, racing or rapid changes of direction, typical of an airsoft game.
The camera itself is waterproof to a depth of 10 meters, with no need for a housing. It can therefore be used in the rain, in mud or for quick clean-ups.
However, the Vision Dock (which serves as screen and extended battery) has only IPX4 certification, protecting it only from splashes. It must be kept dry during use in wet conditions.
Two main methods are available. The fastest is transfer via USB 3.1 cable, with speeds of up to 600 Mb/s.
You can also use wireless transfer via Wi-Fi 6, with a data rate of around 80 Mb/s. The camera also features 128 GB of internal storage, and accepts an additional microSD card of up to 1 TB for ample recording capacity in the field.
The 143° field of view is suitable for capturing the wide environment of a game. For fast-paced action, slow-motion modes in 1080p at 240 fps or 4K at 120 fps allow you to slow down key moments.
The 10-bit D-Log M format offers greater flexibility for color grading in post-production. The pre-recording mode (from 5 to 60 seconds) can also be useful to avoid missing the start of unexpected action.
The camera has two internal microphones, but the sound can be drowned out by wind noise or movement. For better audio quality, it is compatible with DJI external microphones such as the Mic Mini, Mic 2 or Mic 3.
These microphones can be placed closer to your mouth on the mask or helmet, allowing you to pick up your communications and comments more clearly while reducing environmental noise.
