The Mosfet DTU Bluetooth Gearbox V2 T238 is an electronic fire control unit designed for version 2 gearboxes in both AEG airsoft replicas and Gel Ball Blasters. It's aimed at shooters and technicians who want to fine-tune their replica's firing parameters via a smartphone app, without having to reopen the gearbox for each adjustment. This level of control, combined with active protections against overheating and low voltage, makes it a serious internal component for long-lasting installation.
The DTU V2 T238 is based on a high-speed processor combined with 8 optical sensors, which ensure fine, continuous detection of the firing cycle. This density of sensors enables precise reading of piston position at all times, which directly conditions pre-cocking quality and trigger reactivity. Two high-power mosfet chips manage motor control, with the aim of reducing wear on mechanical contacts and maintaining clean electrical commutation over time.
Overheating protection operates autonomously: if the unit overheats, an audible alarm is triggered, and the system restarts automatically after cooling down. Low-voltage protection is set to 7.4 V by default, and is signalled by 4 distinct beeps, allowing you to intervene before damaging the battery or degrading shooting performance.
Bluetooth connectivity is the central feature of this DTU. It enables settings to be changed directly from a smartphone, without having to remove the power supply or dismantle the replica. Pre-cocking, which determines the position of the piston at the end of the cycle in semi-automatic mode, is remotely adjustable, as are the firing modes.
Available modes include semi-automatic, burst configurable from 3 to 6 shots on the Safe or Semi positions, from 3 to 9 shots on Auto, as well as a Binary Trigger mode (double stroke single shot), which triggers one shot when the trigger is pressed and another when it is released. This flexible configuration is ideal for a wide range of field applications, from urban play to games requiring precise cadence control.
The DTU V2 T238 is designed specifically for version 2 gearboxes, the format used on a large proportion of AEG M4, M16, MP5 and similar replicas. It is also compatible with Gel Ball Blasters using the same architecture, thus extending its field of application.
An Auto-loading function is integrated for motorized Gel Ball Blaster magazines: when the magazine is changed, the motor is automatically activated for 0.5 seconds, ensuring that the balls are loaded without further manual intervention.
Installation of this mosfet involves welding and wiring. It is recommended for technicians with proven experience in airsoft electronics, or specialized workshops.
This electronic unit is specifically designed for airsoft and Gel Ball Blaster replicas equipped with a V2 version gearbox. It replaces the traditional mechanical trigger switch, offering advanced electronic management and enhanced responsiveness.
