The Profile Turbofan goggle from ESS features an air evacuation system to prevent fogging. Fresh air circulates through the lower edge of the goggle frame thanks to a fan rotating at 13,000 rpm. The system is powered by a single 1.5-volt AA battery.
Even in sweaty conditions or extreme temperatures, this two-speed system will deplete moisture and dramatically reduce fogging. It operates in a closed environment, so can be used in smoke- or gas-saturated environments. Operating autonomy of more than 150 hours continuously at low speed.
The Profile NVG Turbofan mask has a wide, open field of vision, it also has two spacers arranged on either side making it fully compatible with the wearing of Spectra or TC type helmets.
Like all ESS glasses, the interchangeable lenses are anti-fog and anti-scratch. They are made from 2.80 mm Polycarbonate.
The Profile NVG Turbofan goggle is AINSI Z87.1-2003 and CE EN 166 ballistic protection certified.
