Speedsoft is a derivative of airsoft, incorporating many of the same codes as paintball.
Appreciated by enthusiasts for its fast-paced, dynamic gameplay, Speedsoft has become increasingly popular over the years, and is gaining in popularity.
Imported from the USA in 2016, this variant is played in a space similar to paintball, i.e. fairly restricted and set up with various obstacles (also known as Modules) for rapid deployment of teams and short, intense game phases.
There's also a competitive structure that brings together a large number of teams of different nationalities. Competitive clashes are governed by different rules and modes of play, depending on the surface of the field, the obstacles encountered and whether the game is played indoors or outdoors.
Specifically, there are two types of scenario for Speedsoft games: "Captur The Flag" and "Team Deathmatch".
Speedsoft teams can be composed of up to 5 players per team, depending on the game mode set. In the game, each team is organized and each member has a role to play according to his or her position in order to progress and win the round to be contested.
Games are closely supervised by one or more referees, to ensure that each round runs smoothly.
