Wolverine Airsoft expands the Wraith range with its Model X for AEG replicas, featuring modernized regulator technology and added functionality. This is a stock tube with a versatile HPA system offering 3 distinct configurations:
- Sparclettes CO2 12g (autonomy of approx. 200 shots)
- 33g CO2 cartridges (autonomy of approx. 500 shots)
- Standard HPA cylinders (approx. 1000-shot autonomy) via a "Wraith X tank stock" assembly requiring removal of the expansion chamber and stock tube, and screwing of the cylinder directly into the regulator
The Wraith X stock tube benefits from the experience acquired by its predecessors, leading to a number of improvements, such as the magnetic cap, which makes sparlet changing quick and easy. The multi-start thread will allow you to engage the cap and pierce the cartridge with about one full rotation without the need to adjust the length of the sparclette, unlike the old three-lug design. The size of the expansion chamber has been doubled, ensuring improved firing consistency and overall system stability during cartridge use.
It features the STORM category 5 regulator with hardened steel internals, the same as the bottle version where only the head differs, with a pressure setting range from 60 to 180 PSI. The recommended service life for the regulator is 100,000 shots or every 6 months. To prevent corrosion and ensure uninterrupted performance, we recommend spraying a silicone-based lubricant into the vent after a few uses or before prolonged storage.
In summary, the Wraith X is designed as a unique stock tube system that eliminates the need for separate systems for different air/gas sources, allowing users to switch easily between CO2 in 12g or 33g sparclettes and HPA.
