The T238 DTU V2 PRO (DTU = Digital Trigger Unit) is an optical-sensing electronic trigger unit designed for V2 gearboxes (M4 / AR15 series) and split gearboxes. It is designed for airsofteers wishing to eliminate mechanical contacts from their replicas, as well as competitive players looking for advanced firing modes, and Gel Ball Blasters users. Its contactless architecture on the trigger tail and selector sets it apart from conventional MOSFETs, eliminating the wear points usually generated by repeated friction.
The central principle of the T238 DTU V2 PRO is based on infrared sensors that read the position of the trigger tail and selector without any direct physical contact. This approach eliminates the electrical micro-arcing and mechanical wear that affect conventional contacts over the long term. The internal wiring is made of Teflon, a high-temperature resistant material that enhances the unit's durability in the face of intensive firing cycles and high-current motors. The unit is capable of withstanding a starting current of up to 300 A and an active braking current of up to 85 A, two figures that illustrate its ability to work with demanding motorizations.
The DTU V2 PRO comes with several firing modes: semi-automatic, full-auto, binary trigger (one shot on trigger, one shot on release), 3 Rounds Burst and Sniper Delay, which introduces a configurable delay between shots. An AUG mode is also available: an intermediate pull on the trigger triggers semi-auto, while a full pull switches to full-auto, allowing you to change cadence without touching the external selector. This flexibility of configuration makes it a relevant choice for users wishing to adapt their replica to different game formats without additional mechanical modification. The pre-cocking function and Active Brake complete the package, reducing firing latency and stopping the piston precisely at the end of the cycle.
The T238 DTU V2 PRO incorporates a five-level protection system covering motor short-circuit, gear locking, excessive battery discharge and MOSFET overheating. These devices make the unit usable even by less experienced profiles, securing the replica's components against common handling errors. The accepted voltage range extends from 6 V to 16.8 V, offering compatibility with the majority of LiPo batteries available on the market. For assemblies exceeding an M150 spring, we recommend the use of a suitable High-Torque motor. Connecting a battery with reversed polarity can cause permanent and irreversible damage: this must be checked before any power-up. The unit is available in two wiring configurations, Front-wired and Rear-wired, to suit different M4 replica architectures. An intelligent self-charging function is also available for Gel Ball Blasters equipped with an internal motor charger.
This module is specifically designed for V2-type gearboxes fitted to the M4 and AR15 series. It is also compatible with split-type gearboxes and Gel Ball Blasters meeting this standard.

This module accepts a wide voltage range from 6V to 16.8V, making it compatible with most LiPo and LiFe batteries. Its high-temperature Teflon wiring ensures optimum conductivity and excellent heat resistance during rapid cycling.
The unit features automatic calibration of the spring travel (Travel Learning), which simplifies commissioning. However, for springs larger than the M150 model, the use of a specific High-Torque motor is imperative to ensure correct system operation.
The choice depends on the location of the battery on your replica: the "Rear-wired" version is intended for replicas with the battery housed in the stock, while the "Front-wired" version is suitable for models with the battery in the handguard. Both versions share the same technical features and software functions.
