The SA-F08 FLEX Gen.2 was designed by Specna Arms to offer an affordable yet technically robust replica, built to be immediately effective in the field. The philosophy behind the FLEX Gen.2 line is to offer a better user experience and more refined out-of-the-box performance by incorporating a consistent hop-up/barrel system, reinforced mechanics, and electronics capable of customizing firing behavior without requiring an immediate upgrade.
Externally, the replica features a design focused on lightness and durability. The body is made of nylon-fiber-reinforced polymer, known for its high strength and a matte finish with a rougher texture. The parts subject to the most wear are made of metal to ensure long-term durability, particularly the flash hider, outer barrel, fire selector, magazine release, and cocking lever. The front of the replica features an RRA Lightweight Free Float handguard compliant with the M-LOK standard under license from Rock River Arms®, complete with Picatinny rails, making it easy to attach a flashlight, laser, or tactical grip as needed. The outer barrel features a 14 mm CCW thread, ideal for attaching a dummy suppressor or a tracer unit. These internal components are centered around the Æther™ gearbox with a reinforced frame. Specna Arms emphasizes a design focused on reliability, featuring a main spring release function, inspection windows (pre-cocking and AoE), a reinforced front plate, windows for easy loading, a trigger adjustment feature, and chassis alignment points. Compatibility with springs up to M140 allows you to customize your replica according to field restrictions or your specific needs. It also features 8 mm bearings, steel gears, and a polycarbonate piston with metal teeth, ensuring consistent performance.
The central component of this SA-F08 Gen2 remains the HAL™ ETU, which uses magnetic sensors (Hall effect) to detect trigger pull. This system offers responsiveness and advanced settings, including active brake, binary trigger, 5-level adjustable sensitivity, 6-level adjustable pre-cocking, and programmable firing modes in AUTO and SEMI. Programming via the trigger simplifies adjustments on the field, while the low-battery alarm ensures safe use. The system is compatible with brushless motors, allowing players to upgrade it if needed. Finally, the replica features the ESA™ quick-spring-change system, allowing players to quickly and easily adjust power to suit gameplay conditions.
